Of wars and nanorods
War Sucks or rather wars suck. Plurality just to assert my utter detest . Somehow feel its really bizarre why men should fight ? Just watched the movie We were soldiers based on a the Vietnam War. Was deeply moved. The movie touched the right chords without being too melodramatic. At the crux of wars often lie stubborn-maladroit-power-seeking politicos who are unmindful of humanity and even the populace of their own countries . Phew!! You need to put blame on somebody.

Well days are rather eventless presently. Got a few good results yesterday, in my btp( btech project) an aberration in the scheme of things and i treated myself to a holiday just for a day after some relentless work ;o) ( at least by my standards). The latter though wouldn't merit as an aberration. The period of relentless work was about a couple of weeks( a conservative estimate) , though it didn't involve physical labour. But then many of the battles are fought in the mind. I had it weighing on me for some time. I made nanorods though not for the first time in the historyof mankind but then i did!!!.The very glimpse of it had me into fits of irrepressible laughter ( my expression of delight) much to the embarassment of the fellow accompanying me and the displeasure of the TEM operator . I can probaly now understand why Archimedes ran naked (it could very well have been me the other day). Though its not going to fetch me a membership into the Swedish Acadamy of sciences or buy me an OBE. But it definitely ensures one thing. I almost sail through my final semester. touchwood. I hope so. I may be underplaying what i got but then God has been merciful. Thank you Big Boss.
